Jesus Christ

Born in a manger, in foreign and far lands

pierced in his feet, and pierced in his hands

With a choir of angels, singing above

filled with the Spirit, God's will, and God's love

Never sinned against God, nor committed a crime

who is this one, both human and divine?

Hated by men, the world, and his own

died with two thieves, despised and alone

He died on a cross, for you and for me

then rose from the dead, and set the world free
